Current status….. “Officially a COMMERCIAL WINERY”
August 13, 2018 Bryan and i closed escrow on 15 acres of agriculture property which is now known as Serendipity Cellars at Lucier Family Vineyards. Effective August 3, 2020 we were issued our Conditional Use Permit. This was the last item we were waiting for to be completely compliant. To say we are excited is an absolute understatement.
Aside from being compliant, our winery building is up and the exterior is painted. Electrical begins in the next week. We are counting our blessings as our vision is becoming reality.
While our winery building is being built, we are bonded to make wine in the little shed on the property. Its’ known as the “shit shed”. What a story this will be for years to come. We were limited on the commercial equipment we could order based on the amount of room we have in the shed. And the journey continues……
